Barbara joined Seraphic as a part-time consultant in January 2015, and accepted the full-time VP post in November 2015. Barbara is overseeing the first iterations of the Seraphic Global Education project in her development of direct to consumer educational material in both written and video formatting, and conducting research and editing of the first consumer-directed books from Zach Bush, MD.

Barbara has thirty years work experience primarily as an entrepreneur and editor in a broad variety of professional arenas. She has consumer products/brand management experience working ultimately as an assistant brand manager for Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as writing and editorial experience in the Public Information Office for East Tennessee’s system of community colleges.

She owned and managed a textile screen printing business in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a small real estate firm in East Tennessee, and is a partner in several real estate development and rental businesses.

Barbara graduated with honors from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, Phi Beta Kappa, with degrees in Mass Communication and Political Science, and did an additional teaching assistantship in graduate school there.
